Or perhaps you’ve completed one of our Youth Programs (congratulations) and you’re keen to develop your craft further with this new course, we have carefully constructed this program with new and experienced actors in mind.
In this module of training, The Hero’s Journey: Character and Story Arc in Performance, young actors will embody heroic characters and discover the joy of script analysis in great writing.
Actors will traverse hero stories from the ancient to the modern: citing their own favourite theatre, television and/or film stories. They will be encouraged to take ownership of their own hero’s journey and bring this to the work and the characters they play.
Open to ages 13-16. Limited Spaces.
The course will be facilitated online (4 weeks) and in the studio (4 weeks) to accommodate the current restrictions. As the industry moves towards online auditions and casting, this is a great opportunity to find your power in the online medium.
